Memorial 6th Annual Sweetheart Expo
February 17, 2020
LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO- Memorial Medical Center is celebrating American Heart Month and will host a special 6th Annual Sweetheart Expo coinciding with the Love of Art, art show Sunday, February 23rd. An event to learn about the latest in heart care to help you take charge of your heart health.
Simply put, your heart is one of the most essential parts of your body. It’s one of the hardest working muscles you’ve got – ticking around the clock to keep you going. There’s a lot riding on it, so it’s important to think smart when it comes to your heart.
Unfortunately, your heart is also one of the most vulnerable parts of your body. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer of both men and women, with one in four people dying of it each year. In fact, more women die of heart disease than from most cancers combined.
Come join Memorial for a fun interactive event, learning the latest on heart health, with food, refreshments and heart related crafts for all ages. Local artwork selected to renovate the art collection at Memorial will also be on display during this event before being hung in designated areas throughout the hospital and off campus facilities.
The Sweetheart Expo will be hosted at Memorial Medical Center West Annex lobby and conference rooms Sunday, February 23 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Open to the public, RSVP your spot today, call 800.424.DOCS (3627).
