Memorial Medical Center's Respiratory Team provides 24/7 coverage to provide care for all inpatient services from neonates to geriatrics. Our Respiratory Therapists work closely with Providers and Nursing to deliver quality care to some of the most critically ill patients in Southwest New Mexico.

Our department offers a higher level of care provided by a professional and experienced staff. 100% of our team is made up of Registered Respiratory Therapists and nearly half with a specialty certification such as NPS (neonatal pediatric specialty) or ACCS (adult critical care specialty).

Arterial Blood Gasses
Arterial Line Placement
Chest Percussion Therapy to include Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation
Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilation
Member of the Multidisciplinary Round Team, Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Heart, Code Stroke, Trauma and High-Risk Delivery Team
Nebulizer and MDI Administration
Oxygen Therapy
Patient Assessment
Pulmonary Function Testing including Bronchial Provocation Testing
