Sean Gallagher named Chief Financial Officer of Memorial Medical Center

Memorial Medical Center (MMC) announced today that Sean Gallagher has been named new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 19, 2021. Gallagher brings nearly 20 years of experience leading the financial operations of hospitals across the country.
“We are excited to have Sean step into this important leadership role,” said John Harris, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MMC. “He has exceptional financial leadership experience at hospitals the size of Memorial and larger.”
Prior to his role at Memorial, Gallagher was a financial executive at hospitals in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, North Carolina and Washington, D.C.
“Memorial has a rich tradition of delivering high quality care in the region,” said Gallagher. “I look forward to working together with the remarkable team at MMC.”

Gallagher holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Health Care Financial Management Association.
