What is your official title?


How long have you worked here at Memorial Medical Center?

Since January 1993.

How did you come into this position?

The CNO at that time offered me the position.

What was your motivation for a career in healthcare?

I have always enjoyed taking care of others and was drawn to nursing as a way to do this.

What is a typical day like for you?

It is always a bit different. One of the best parts of my position is that I never know what the next phone call will bring.

How would you describe your role's responsibilities? 

I facilitate our resources to provide care to our patients and I act as a resource to and advocate for staff, patients and their families.

In what areas do you help patients? 

I arrange, and sometimes rearrange, the moving pieces so we have the physical space and correct team members to accommodate our patient's needs.

What are some of your interests outside of work?

My family, friends, and our dog. I also love to cook and bake.

What is your favorite part about working for Memorial Medical Center?

The amazing team that I am so very lucky to worth with.
