What is your official title?
Patient Satisfaction Liaison.
How long have you worked here at Memorial Medical Center?
I’ve been with Memorial Medical Center for 2.5 fabulous years.
How did you come into this position?
The universe thought that this position would be a good fit for me, and she was right.
What was your motivation for a career in Healthcare?
Knowing that a smiling face and kind word can improve a person’s day; that little connection can make all the difference to patients and team members alike.
What is a typical day like for you?
Interviewing patients in person and over the phone to identify and communicate needs with the purpose of improving their experience.
How would you describe your role’s responsibilities?
Through interviews and interactions, I try to make sure the patients feel heard, so they have a quality experience with us.
In what areas do you help patients?
I am lucky to work with all patients throughout the hospital.
What are some of your interests outside of work?
Mountain biking, mountain climbing, gardening, siting on the couches, and hanging out with my people and dogs…. all dogs.
What is your favorite part about working for Memorial Medical Center?
I have so many “favorites” about working here, but ultimately my favorite is our team. I am fortunate to surround myself with so many hard working, talented, and supportive folks. When our patients recognize and report those same observations during my rounds; that is the icing on the cake. I would be remiss to not mention the cafeteria bacon.
