(LAS CRUCES, NM – June 8, 2023) – Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce that Victoria Grasso, DO, has been named Chief of Medical Staff. Dr. Grasso is a Board-certified family medicine physician who has practiced in our region since 2016.

As Chief of Staff, Dr. Grasso is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Medical Staff and promoting effective communication between the Medical Staff, hospital administration and Board of Trustees. In her current role with TeamHealth, Dr. Grasso has been the Hospitalist Medical Director at Memorial Medical Center for the past four years.

“Dr. Grasso will do an excellent job of leading the more than 500 providers on our Medical Staff and welcoming future physicians in a number of specialties,” said John Harris, Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Medical Center. “In addition to providing a continued focus on our top priorities of providing quality and safe care, she will be integral in the pursuit of our mission of making communities healthier.”

After earning her credentials as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013, Dr. Grasso completed her Family Medicine Residency at Plainview Hospital Northwell Health in Plainview, N.Y.
