Just a little over a year.

How did you come into this position?

I worked in Las Cruces years ago at Mountain View and wanted to come back to the area again.

What was your motivation for a career in healthcare?

I really like helping people and making a difference.

What is a typical day like for you?

It just depends on which surgeons are working; I could be scrubbing in any of the specialties – each day is different.

How would you describe your role’s responsibilities?

To set up the OR suite and get the supplies and equipment needed for each surgery. To keep a safe environment for all my patients and take the best care of them to all my abilities.

What are some of your interests outside of work?

Anything outdoors: Hiking, biking, etc.

What is your favorite part about working for Memorial Medical Center?

At Memorial, it is more like one team working for patient care than at some other hospitals I’ve been at. And I feel more appreciated and listened to.
