Memorial Minute - July 24, 2020
July 24, 2020
In recent weeks, I have been reflecting and am proud of the way our team continues to weather the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic together. We began taking steps to prepare our facility before the virus was in our community. We implemented a robust emergency operations plan and executed it down to the final detail to keep our patients, providers, employees and community members safe. Every member of our team was ready to step up to the challenge and make our hospital even better. While we always maintain strict infection prevention protocols, we introduced new processes and procedures – such as having everyone in our facility wear a mask and screening all who enter for COVID-19 symptoms – to further reduce the spread. As life returns to a “new normal,” please know that we aren’t letting our guard down. You can have every confidence that we continue to take all possible precautions to help protect you when you come for care. We want you to feel comfortable coming to see us and not ignore any health concerns you may have in hopes the pandemic will end soon. Your health is important to us and we thank you, as always, for entrusting Memorial Medical Center with your care. It is our privilege to serve you.
