MMC TO HOLD FREE SEASONAL FLU IMMUNIZATION CLINIC

September 28, 2011 - Memorial Medical Center will provide its annual Community Free Seasonal Flu Immunization Clinic from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., or while supplies last, on Saturday, October 8, 2011.
   Free seasonal flu shots will be available for adults 18 years and older.  The clinic will take place in the conference rooms located on the ground floor of the hospital annex.  Enter the west parking lot from Terrace Drive, then follow the signs to the clinic.  A drive-up station will also be available for those who have difficulty walking in.

MMC Launches "Books for Babies" Program
August 22, 2011 – At the beginning of August, Memorial Medical Center launched the "Books for Babies" program to support the Children's Reading Foundation of Doña Ana County and the Doña Ana Reading Council.

MMC Welcomes Dr. Robert Francis to MMC Cancer Center

March 4, 2011 – Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Francis joined the MMC Cancer Center Team as a permanent physician earlier this year.

   Francis went to medical school in Philadelphia, completed his residency in New York City, and trained in a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship in Los Angeles.  Dr. Francis is board-certified in medical oncology and hematology. He has spent the last 6 years as a locum tenens physician, a doctor that travels to different practices providing temporary coverage.

MMC Welcomes New Cardiac Cath Lab Director

February 4, 2011 – Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce that Trish Hall, RCIS, started as the new Cardiac Cath Lab Director on January 17, 2011.

   Hall, a Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist, comes to MMC from California and brings over 20 years of Cath Lab Leadership experience. “I love working in the Cath Lab because there is always something new to learn. Every patient is a different challenge. I love learning new things and implementing them to provide better care,” Hall said,” “The care received in the Cath Lab is appreciated by our patients. It is great to have a job where you are getting positive feedback on a regular basis.”
